Mis Raíces joins our portfolio of estate bottled extra virgin olive oils from the Bajo Aragon region (Denomination of Orgin) in Spain. Produced during the first half of November with 80% Empeltre olives and 20% Arbequina when the olives are in their optimal moment of maturation. A medium-high fruity intensity bouquet is perceived in the nose, with notes of fresh grass and a delicate touch of fennel (typical of the Empeltre variety). On the palate it delivers a smooth entry, a sweetness standing out over a bitterness and a dash of spice. There are also nutty flavors like walnuts and almonds, both characteristic flavors of the Empeltre variety.
