McEvoy Ranch’s Organic Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the Tuscan style with its characteristically rich, slightly peppery flavor is the result of six Tuscan varietals: Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, Maurino, Leccio del Corno and Coratina.
Estate-grown and produced from the 2018 harvest of seven Italian olive varieties on our Ranch. Certified organic and certified Extra Virgin, the Traditional Blend has the aromatics of freshly cut grass and green olives.
The blend is quite complex and beautifully balanced with intense olive fruitiness and flavors of raw artichoke and sweet green almond. There is a slightly herbaceous note that we find enticing with a distinct hint of cinnamon from the Leccino olive. The finish is smooth with a whisper of mild pepper.
This medium-bodied olive oil is grass green at harvest, mellowing to a greenish gold. McEvoy Ranch is a member of Extra Virgin Alliance, a non-profit trade association representing producers of genuine extra virgin olive oil from around the world.
