The Giachi  family firm is located in the hills of Mercatale Val di Pesa in the Florentine part of the Chianti Classico zone.  Produced from a blend of  Frantoio,  Moraiolo and a small percentage of Leccino, Maurino, and Pendolino olives all hand-picked within the first ten days of November.  A favorite among many chefs in Chicago!

Medium bodied fruit, grassy aroma, with a peppery finish.

Serving suggestion:  wonderful for finishing meats, soups, or bread dipping
